‘Service’ el nuevo cómic de James Bond
Mayo, es el mes previsto por ediciones Dynamite para publicar Service, el título del nuevo cómic de James Bond 007 con guión de Kieron Gillen y dibujos de Antonio Fuso. Un asesino pretende enturbiar la buena relación entre La Gran Bretaña y Estados Unidos y allí está el agente 007 para evitar el desastre...
Kieron Gillen And Antonio Fuso Get Their License To Kill With James Bond: Service
When Dynamite Entertainment got its hands on the James Bond license, it must have put together a checklist of talent that would be perfect for the franchise and then went down it one-by-one to give the iconic spy the comics he deserves. If such a list exists, another two names can be checked off as this May, Kieron Gillen teams up with artist Antonio Fuso for a 48-page one-shot James Bond thriller as 007 attempts to stop an assassin from putting a permanent end to the Special Relationship.
James Bond: Service features Bond operating in a Great Britain unsure of its own place in the larger geopolitical picture, and the stakes are much higher than simply saving the lives of an assassin's targets. When one bullet could have major ramifications on the economic future of a nation struggling with its own twenty-first century identity, the pressure is on Bond and the fate of Great Britain as we know it is in his hands.
In a statement provided by Dynamite, Kieron Gillen commented on the significance of getting a chance to write a British institution.
A chance to write a British icon is something that's basically irresistible," says writer Kieron Gillen. "This is like getting to write the sun rising. You've known it all your life, but this time it's yours. I wanted to do a story that was classically Bond, but spoke to Britain as it is, and Britain as it was. In short: I was looking for any excuse for Bond to use a Sten-gun.
James Bond: Service is out this May from Dynamite. Check out the official description of the one-shot below:
