Mi opinión sobre ‘Solo’

¡La cuenta atrás ha terminado! Solo, la nueva novela de James Bond escrita por William Boyd y editada por Ediciones Alfaguara, ya está disponible en las librerías españolas.

En la foto Francesc Sirvent con un ejemplar de Solo en español por gentileza de Ediciones Alfaguara. He acabado de leer la novela Solo y la recomiendo. El título hace mención a la soledad con que Bond se enfrenta a una misión que le lleva de Londres a África, de vuelta a Londres, Washington, otra vez África y finalmente regresa a casa. Hay alusiones a las novelas de Fleming, sus descripciones gastronómicas y opino por un detalle que no voy a desvelar que probablemente Mr. Boyd siga con el 007 literario. Buena lectura a todos.

The countdown is over! Solo, the new James Bond novel written by William Boyd and edited by Ediciones Alfaguara, is now available in Spanish bookstores.

In the picture Francesc Sirvent with a copy of Solo in Spanish courtesy of Ediciones Alfaguara. I have finished reading the novel Solo and I recommend it. The title refers to the loneliness with which Bond faces a mission that takes him from London to Africa, back to London, Washington, Africa again and finally returns home. There are allusions to Fleming's novels, his gastronomic descriptions and I think of a detail that I will not reveal that Mr. Boyd will probably continue with the literary 007. Good reading to all.
