En un día como hoy nació David Charles Prowse (01/07/1935 - 28/11/2020). Fue el monstruo de Frankenstein, sin acreditar, en Casino Royale (1967). Posteriormente volvería a ser la criatura en El horror de Frankenstein (The Horror of Frankenstein, 1970) y Frankenstein y el monstruo del infierno (Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell, 1974). Su papel más famoso, tras la máscara de, Darth Vader en los episodios IV-V-VI de La guerra de las galaxias (Star Wars, 1977), El imperio contraataca (The Empire Strikes Back, 1980) y El retorno del jedi (Return Of The Jedi, 1984).
