En un día como hoy de 1887 nació William Henry Pratt, más conocido como Boris Karloff (23/11/1887 - 02/02/1969). El aristócrata del terror, interpretó a la criatura de Frankenstein, la momia, doctor Fu Manchu y otros monstruos del cine... protagonizó/participó, entre otras, Las tres caras del miedo (I tre volti della paura, 1963), El Cuervo (The Raven, 1963), La maldición del altar rojo (Curse of the Crimson Altar, 1968)... También participó en series de televisión como Jim West (The Wild, Wild West), Yo soy espía (I Spy), en el episodio de esta última titulado Mainly On The Plains (1967)  coincidió con Paul Naschy (Jacinto Molina).
